A Legacy of Musical Excellence
As a dedicated freelance Harpist, I find my home in the vibrant North West of England, bringing the serene sounds of the harp to weddings and various events across Cheshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Cumbria, the Wirral, Merseyside, North Wales, and Yorkshire.
My passion for music is deeply rooted, inspired by my parents’ involvement in the prestigious Halle Orchestra. My musical journey began at the tender age of three, attending my first concert and falling deeply in love with the harp. This love prompted me to start piano lessons by four, setting the foundation for my lifelong dedication to music.
My education in music took a significant turn when I earned a spot at the esteemed Chetham’s School of Music, studying under the renowned harpist Elinor Bennett. By ten, I celebrated winning my first music festival, and by sixteen, I had made my professional debut at Manchester’s historical Freetrade Hall.
Creating Unforgettable Moments
Since 1989, my freelance career has flourished, seeing me collaborate with the UK’s top Symphony, Opera, and Ballet Orchestras, including the Halle, BBC Philharmonic, and Opera North, to name a few. My career has not only been about orchestras; I’ve also relished in solo performances, from concertos to recitals, gracing both royalty and stars like Russell Watson and Kanye West with my music. What brings me the most joy, however, is enhancing private events such as weddings and corporate gatherings with the harp’s timeless beauty.
